Ascent-Lip Butter | Panettone
Based on the traditional Italian Christmas cake that according to legend was made with leftovers suggested by the scullery boy after the original splendid dessert that was made for the Duke of Milan was accidentally burnt. It was named in the scullery boys honour (pane di Toni) and was later transformed into a huge fluffy loaf by adding more yeast, eggs and butter. Lots of flavours are now available but we've kept ours similar to the original which included preserved lemon peel.
Our lip butters are crammed full of luxury oils and butters to hydrate and moisturise your lips whilst offering great protection against the weather. We have chosen to call them butters rather than balms as they are slightly softer than your usual lip balm. For a light covering simply run your finger gently over the surface of the product. If you wish for a thicker butter like coverage and for an extra moisturising hit, then press your finger slightly into the product and massage into your lips. Please note that in warmer weather our butters will begin to melt, if this happens then pop your tin into the fridge and it will firm back up.
